This is the New Generation VKBO/VKPO balaclava manufactured by BTK Group as part of the Russian military cold-weather clothing system.
Made from warm knitted fabric containing 70% wool and 30% polyamide. The elastic knitted construction provides a comfortable close fit around the head and neck while helping retain warmth in cold-weather conditions.
The balaclava features an eye opening and extended coverage for the face and neck. Its lower section can be folded upward, allowing the balaclava to also be worn as a knitted hat.
